JSO publishes regular journal articles, book reviews, book symposia, special issues and—newly introduced—the shorter, tighter, more focused format of discussion articles. (Read more about the new format of discussion articles.)

For security reasons—only after your manuscript passes initial desk review—you will receive the login information for our peer review system, and you will be asked to submit your manuscript into the system. Your manuscript will be send out for anonymous review in line with our Peer Review Policy.
